Speaking of Voice…Raise Yours!
Two years ago, I founded ClimateVoice to encourage employees to speak up about climate at work — and get their companies to speak up about climate policy in the public square. We’re proud of the hundreds of employees who have rallied to our cause and found a united voice for climate progress. They’re making a difference at an urgent time!
While helping so many to find their voice, however, it’s ironic to note that I’ve lost much of mine. A medical issue with my throat (which doesn’t impair my thinking or movement) keeps me from doing as much public speaking these days — and instead pushes me to write more blogs like this. Luckily, in this digital age, there are lots of ways to have a powerful voice.
So while you may not hear me as much these days, you can rest assured that America’s companies will keep hearing from ClimateVoice, raising the bar on their climate action. We have a lot of work to do to scale and accelerate decarbonization, so I invite you to go to our new website and join me and our thousands of supporters in speaking up — by talking, tweeting, blogging or however you do it!
